Land-Sell | 3 Jun 1837 | Three months after their marriage, Isaac and Eleanor sold their interest in an undivided tract of land in Washington County to John Snodgrass and Edward Snodgrass for $300. Moses Snodgrass sold his interest to John and Edward Snodgrass as well. In 1854 John Snodgrass sold the same acreage to Philip Snapp, noting that he had previously purchased the interest of his brother Moses Snodgrass, deceased, and sister Eleanor Snodgrass, deceased. The deed also clarified that the land had belonged to John's father John Snodgrass who had been willed it by his father, also a John Snodgrass.4,5 |
