None of the 3 brothers married and on the death of the last brother their combined assets were distributed among the descendants of the brothers' siblings. Since Elizabeth was not alive at the time distributions from the estate started in 1878 the share she would have received in right of her mother Ann passed to William R. McSpadden, John W. McSpadden and Jennie McSpadden (also listed as Jane), indicating Elizabeth's other children were also deceased.7,8 |
