  The couple did not have children and Lillie died just a few years after their marriage.6,7 
Death22 Apr 1906 Lillie died on 22 Apr 1906 in Linden, San Joaquin County, California, at age 44 of chronic Bright's disease.1,8 
Burial24 Apr 1906 She was buried on 24 Apr 1906 at Linden Cemetery in San Joaquin County, California.9 

Research Comment:

Lillie's cousins, Sarah Ann Buchanan, Walter Clark Gardner and William Davis Moffett also died of Bright's disease.10
