Birth3 Dec 1866 Frank Garner Stover was born on 3 Dec 1866 in Illinois.2
Childhood  Frank grew up in Carroll County, Illinois, where he was the youngest of his parent's 4 children.3,4
A second cousin, born the preceding June, was named Francis Garner Miller. It is possible they were both named for an older cousin, Francis Garner Moffett. It is also possible, and perhaps more likely, that they were all named for an early Carroll County settler named Francis Garner. In addition, Garner/Gardner was a family name of the Moffett side, although how the given name Francis fits into the picture is not clear.
Marriage28 Dec 1893 He married Anna Drapier on 28 Dec 1893 in Indianapolis, Indiana.2
Cens-19001900 Six years after their marriage Frank and Anna were recorded on the 1900 census for Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Frank, enumerated as "Dr. F.G. Stover" was employed as a dentist. Also in the home was Frank's 63 year old widowed mother and Anna's 31 year old sister Daisy.5
Residence1907  In 1907 Frank contributed family information forms to the Clan Moffat Society. He and Anna lived in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the time. When the clan form was submitted to Frank for completion, portions were already typed in, including the information that he was a dentist. However when the form was returned someone (probably Frank) had crossed out dentist and inserted "manufacturing hardwood lumber."2
Burial He was buried at Lanark Cemetery in Carroll County, Illinois.6
