Eliza Margaret "Pink" Dunn died in a tragic accident off the coast of Texas on March 27, 1852. Her husband of two months, W. E. Jones (later Brig. General "Grumble" Jones) sent this map to Eliza's family identifying the location of the accident11

  8. [S16] It is not known who originally owned this Montgomery family bible. The script does not appear to be that of Richard Montgomery Sr., at least compared to his signature on his Rev. War. pension application. The pages containing family information were located tucked into the bible of Peter and Margaret (Montgomery) Clark. Margaret was a daughter of Richard Montgomery Sr..
