- [S11] "Family notes of Mrs. Lizzie Ryburn," (written between 1913-1919), original presently held by unknown family member. Typed transcription provided to author by Calvin Baldwin; Garrett Pk., MD. Mrs. Lizzie Ryburn (1833-1919), whose maiden name was Elizabeth Clark (dau of John B. Clark and Mary Beattie), and who was the second wife of James Ryburn, authored a story about her grandfather, James Clark. Since Lizzie was born 14 years after his death her remembrances must be based on information shared with her by other family members. Also, the original story was recopied by Laura Horne for Ernest Clark and it is impossible to know if Laura copied the original without adding additional details herself. I have estimated the date of authorship to be between 1913-1919. This is based on the fact that the paper mentions that Ellen died unmarried. Since this occurred in 1913 and Lizzie herself died in 1919, the paper must have been written during this window of time. The notation at the end of the copy by Laura Horne stated it was written shortly before Lizzie's death.

Edmiston through his son Thomas whose daughter Jane married Dr. Samuel Dunn. The list is now held by Mrs. Dunn's descendants. The location of the original Bible is not known.
