Marriage25 Apr 1868 He married first Mary Emeline Larimer, daughter of Andrew J. Larimer and Isabella McClure, on 25 Apr 1868 in Washington County, Virginia.4,5 
Migration  About 1872 Felix and Mary migrated to Nebraska where Mary gave birth to the couple's 4th and 5th sons before her death in Nov. 1876.  
  Felix then returned to Virginia where he was enumerated in his parents home in Washington County with his 5 young sons.6 
Marriage4 Feb 1882 He married second Martha A. Blankenbeckler, daughter of John Blankenbeckler and Elizabeth S. Edmondson, on 4 Feb 1882 in Washington County, Virginia.1 
Widowed10 Dec 1888  However Martha died from consumption less than 7 years later leaving a 4 year old son. 
Cens-190022 Jun 1900  At the turn of the century Felix was enumerated farming land in the Holston District of Washington County. Living with him were his sons Wallace and Emery and his mother, Mary Widener.7 
Death7 Aug 1925 Felix died on 7 Aug 1925 at age 75.3 
Burial He was buried at Widener's Valley Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3 

Research Comment:

Felix and Martha were probably the parents of A.E. Widener who died 2 Nov. 1886 at 3 years of age. Washington Co. death records list his parents as Felix and M. Widener.8
