Childhood  Martha spent the first years of her childhood in Tennessee, but the family returned to Virginia in the early 1860s. 
Marriage4 Feb 1882 She married Felix Widener, son of Elias Widener and Mary Rosenbalm, on 4 Feb 1882 in Washington County, Virginia.1 
  Felix was a widower who had previously been married to Mary E. Larimer.  
Death10 Dec 1888 Martha died from consumption on 10 Dec 1888 in Washington County at age 34.3,2 
Burial She was buried at Widener's Valley Cemetery in Washington County.3 

Research Comment:

Felix and Martha were probably the parents of A.E. Widener who died 2 Nov. 1886 at 3 years of age. Washington Co. death records list his parents as Felix and M. Widener.4
