Birth16 Dec 1887 Isaac Stoffle Anderson was born on 16 Dec 1887 near Bluff City in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1,3 
Childhood  Isaac's father died when Isaac was barely 5 years old. He continued to reside with his mother and siblings in the Goodson District of Washington County, Virginia. As an adult he helped run the family farm.2,4 
Milit-Reg9 Jun 1917  Isaac completed the WWI draft registration process on 9 Jun 1917. He was single at the time and listed his address as Route 3, Benhams, Virginia [Washington County]. The paperwork described him as tall and stout with brown hair and black eyes.1 
Marriage He married Nevada Mumpower.5 
Cens-19203 Jan 1920 Following their marriage Isaac and Nevada lived with Nevada's father and his wife on Walker Mountain Road in the Goodson District. Both men were farmers.5 
Cens-19309 Apr 1930  By 1930 Isaac was enumerated as the head of his own household. He was renting the farm on which he and Nevada lived. The couple did not own a radio [one of the questions unique to that year's census].6 
Death13 May 1941 Isaac died on 13 May 1941 at age 53.3 
Burial He was buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3
