Burial He was buried at Stoffel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3 
  It is not known if Richard and Susan had children during the few years they were married before Richard's death in late 1911. However, the 1920 census enumeration for the household of Richard's younger brother Edward (which also included the siblings' mother Nancy), included a 9 year old girl, "Willie", who was recorded as Edward's niece.
