Cens-Sum Ann grew up on her parent's farm in Washington County, Virginia, near the Tennessee border. She did not marry and after her mother's death in 1872 Ann assumed the role of "keeping house" for her father and brothers. Several of her siblings also did not marry. Census records over the years record them living together and farming the Campbell land in the Goodson district of Washington County.4,3,6,7,8,9 
Death8 Mar 1915 Ann died on 8 Mar 1915 at age 68.5 
Burial She was buried at Paperville Cemetery in Sullivan County, Tennessee.5
