Birth1 Mar 1889 Ray Dunn Clark was born on 1 Mar 1889 in Washington County, Virginia.3,2 
Childhood  Ray grew up on Clark family land south of Glade Spring. In 1894 Ray's father acquired the old John B. Clark home and the surrounding land fronting the Old Stage Road. The family lived in the home for 15 or 16 years before building two new homes on the property.4 
Marriage23 Dec 1914 He married Sara Lou Tecia Snodgrass, daughter of William Long Snodgrass and Sara Lou Tecia Grant, on 23 Dec 1914 in Washington County.5 
  They were second cousins, once removed, both being descendants of James Clark and Isabella Breckenridge. 
Cens-Sum  Ray and Lula, who did not have children, shared a home with Ray's parents. Like his father, Ray was a farmer and a skilled carpenter. Ray and his brother Claude built several homes in the Glade Spring community.6,7,8 
Death4 Oct 1965 Ray died on 4 Oct 1965 at age 76.3 
Burial He was buried in the Charles A. Clark square at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County.3
