  5. [S481] Rush Co., IN Marriage Records Vol. 7: 35. The record states that Wm F. Reeves and Hannah M. Gilson were issued a license on 13 May 1850 and that on 27 May 1850 Joseph Barrett, Minister of the Gospel filed a certificate stating that he married them on May 23, 1850. On closer review of this record it is noted that the marriages recorded both immediately before and after this entry were performed on May 16 which is the date given for William and Hannah's marriage in other records. It is possible the date recorded in the court entry is in error?
