Birth2 Jun 1890 Claibourne Shugart Hutton was born on 2 Jun 1890 in Washington County, Virginia, according to county birth records, however his WWI draft registration reported the date as 2 June 1889 and his headstone reads June 2, 1891.3,4,1,5 
Milit-Reg  Claibourne's WWI draft registration form described him as of medium height and build with blue eyes and light brown hair. He was missing a finger on his left hand. Claibourne was single, worked as a baggage express messenger for the Norfolk and Western Railway and lived at 313 Oak St. in Bristol, Virginia (the same address provided on the 1920 census by his sister Mary and her husband).1 
Death11 Oct 1918 Claibourne died from influenza [1918 was the "Spanish Flu" pandemic] on 11 Oct 1918 in Bristol at age 28.4,6 
Burial He was buried at East Hill Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.4
