Birth16 Dec 1853 William Beattie Campbell was born on 16 Dec 1853 in Washington County, Virginia.3 
Cens-Sum  William was enumerated as a member of his father's household in the Goodson district of Washington Co. through 1880.4,5,6 
 William's mother died in 1872 and his father passed away in 1886. William's brother John was enumerated as the head of the family (two of William's sisters were also single and living at home) in 1900 but William was not a member of the household. His whereabouts are not known. 
Cens-Sum  However, by 1910 William was again living on the family farm, where he was recorded that year by his middle name of "Beattie."7,8 
Death1934 William died in 1934.1 
Burial He was buried at Paperville Cemetery in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1
