Cens-186016 Jul 1860 Elizabeth and John were newlyweds when they were recorded together on the 1860 census for Washington County, Virginia. They were living near John's mother and his brothers.3 
Cens-18708 Oct 1870  During the 1860s Elizabeth gave birth to a daughter who died young. The 1870 census suggests that they may have also had a son born about 1866, however he does not seem to appear on later census records.4 
Cens-18801880 Following John's death in 1873, Elizabeth lived with her brother Robert Rhea. There were no children in the household with her.5 
Death6 Sep 1902 Elizabeth died on 6 Sep 1902 at age 73.2
