Birth16 Feb 1838 Andrew Buchanan Edmondson was born on 16 Feb 1838 in Washington County, Virginia.3,4 
Fath-Death  Andrew's father Moses died when Andrew was 12 years old. His will left Andrew one third of his estate and a large picture Bible.2 
  Andrew did not marry but remained on the family farm with his mother. Andrew's sister Sarah Jane Rambo and her family lived nearby. The 1880 and 1900 census entries suggest Sarah's daughter Martha may have lived with Andrew and his mother.5,6 
Cens-19109 May 1910  Andrew's mother died in 1901. In 1910, at the age of 72, Andrew was enumerated for the last time. His household included 51 year old Elizabeth Pickle who had worked for Andrew and his family for at least 30 years. Andrew's household in 1910 also included a 27 year old adopted daughter listed as Mary Seffield.7 
Death2 Apr 1915 Andrew died on 2 Apr 1915 in Washington County, Virginia, at age 77.3,4 
Burial He was buried at Kelly's Chapel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3,4
