On Nov. 10th 1828 they sold their interest in the lands of James Hutton to Eleanor's brothers John and Arthur. - [S131] James Hutton will (recorded 1820), Washington Co., Virginia, Will Book 4: 320. The will was dated 7 Jan. 1820 and recorded 15 Feb. 1820. It was witnessed by James Meek, Dickson, William and Edward Hatton [sic]. It named children John, Arthur, Sarah, James, Jane and Eleanor but did not clarify that these were his only offspring.
