The two young men were allowed the use of the plantation until their youngest sister Sarah reached the age of 15 on Oct. 2, 1827 at which time the land was to be sold.1 |

- [S131] James Hutton will (recorded 1820), Washington Co., Virginia, Will Book 4: 320. The will was dated 7 Jan. 1820 and recorded 15 Feb. 1820. It was witnessed by James Meek, Dickson, William and Edward Hatton [sic]. It named children John, Arthur, Sarah, James, Jane and Eleanor but did not clarify that these were his only offspring.
