Name Other  Isabella's name was sometimes spelled Isabel (headstone), other times Isabelle (first marriage entry) and still other times Isabella (2nd marriage, 1850 census). 
Marriage26 Oct 1833 She married first Andrew J. Larimer, son of Robert Larimer and Sally McKee, on 26 Oct 1833 in Smyth County, Virginia.3,4 
Marriage29 Mar 1850 She married second Andrew J Hawk, son of Frederick Hawk and Hannah (?), on 29 Mar 1850 in Washington County, Virginia.5,6 
29 Mar 1850 She was 33 and he was 19. 
Court Record26 Aug 1850 On 26 Aug 1850, in Washington County, Robert Larimer and Nathaniel McClure were named guardian of Andrew Larimer's "infant" children: Robert, John, Sally, Dorcas, Phoebe and Mary. The following month James McCall was named guardian of Margaret, and James Orr was named guardian of Ann. In part, these guardianships were necessary to probate Andrew Larimer's estate, especially in light of Isabella's remarriage.7 
Cens-185019 Sep 1850 A few months after their marriage Isabella and Andrew were enumerated on the 1850 census, the first to record the names of all members of a household. Recorded with the couple were the 8 children from Isabella's first marriage, although they were recorded with the surname Hawks. Andrew's entry stated that he was a farmer and that he owned land valued at $500.8 
  Although Isabella's 16 year old daughter Margaret was recorded as part of the household, it is possible she was also the 16 year old Margaret Larimer living in the household of James McCall that year. James was married to Andrew Larimer's sister Jane. 
Death29 Apr 1852 Isabella died on 29 Apr 1852 at age 35.9 
Burial She was buried at Rock Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.9 
Court Record  Following Isabella's death Andrew was jailed and charged with poisoning her. On May 24, 1852 the court ordered William Widener, Margaret Larimer, Ann Larimer, Isaac Widener, Isaac A. Grant, Susan Hawthorn, Mary Ann Buchanan, Josephus F. Beaty, Charles Elliott, Caleb Neel and Nathaniel McClure to appear at the next session as witnesses on behalf of the Commonwealth. Frederick D. Hawks, Jane Eads, Michael Widener, Nelson J. M. Beaty, Ann Hamilton & Mary Hamilton were named as witnesses on behalf of the defense.10
