Birth27 Oct 1890 George Lee Anderson was born on 27 Oct 1890 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.3,4 
Childhood  George's father moved the family from Sullivan County, Tennessee to Washington County, Virginia when George was very young. George's father died in 1893, leaving a pregnant wife and several young children. George was enumerated in his mother's household in 1900. He was 9 years old, the youngest of her living children. Also present were 4 older brothers.2 
Marriage He married Ethel Moneyhon
Milit-Reg5 Jun 1917 George completed the WWI draft registration process on 5 Jun 1917. He stated that he was employed as a boiler maker for the Southern Railway, was married, and resided at 209 E. Baxter Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee. The form described George as of medium height and slender build with brown eyes and hair.4 
Cens-19203 Jan 1920 The 1920 census also stated that George and Ethel lived on Baxter Street in Knoxville, and confirmed that he was working as a boilermaker. The census also enumerated the couple's two young children: George and Lillian.5 
Cens-193016 Apr 1930 By 1930 they had moved to Sullivan County where they owned a home on Pennsylvania Avenue in Bristol. George continued to work as a boiler maker.6 
DeathOct 1962 George died in Oct 1962, probably in Tennessee.3
