Marriage She married William N. Davis, son of William Davis and Ann McDaniel.1 
Cens-18701 Sep 1870  Nancy and William lived in Madison County, Alabama, where they were enumerated in 1870. William was incorrectly listed as 27 years old. He owned land valued at $3,500, and personal property worth $1,500. Nancy was 34. Recorded with them were James (15), Holbert (12), Williamson (f. 8) and Martha E. (5).4 
Cens-18801 Sep 1880  Ten years later William's age was again listed incorrectly. This time he was recorded as 50. Nancy was 44. Holbert, "Willie" and Martha were again enumerated and 3 additional children had been added to the family.5 
WidowedAug 1893  Nancy was widowed when William died of typhoid fever in Aug 1893. 
Cens-19005 Jun 1900 Seven years later, at the turn of the century, she was recorded living in Newmarket with daughter Martha (34) and son Samuel [Clifton] (20). Nancy's entrly stated that she was the mother of 7 children, 2 of whom were deceased.3 
Death9 Jun 1907 Nancy died on 9 Jun 1907 at age 71.2 
Burial She was buried at Mt. Paran Cemetery in Madison County, Alabama.2
