Abednego Wedding1

Birth Abednego Wedding was born in Maryland.2 
  Abednego was a triplet; his brothers were Shadrach and Meshach.3 
Marriage He married first Rebecca (Johnson) Lemaster.4 
Migration  Abednego and Rebecca were probably married in Maryland. Abednego was born there and Rebecca resided there during her first marriage. The place of birth of their first known child, Augustus (b. 1806), is alternately reported as Maryland or Virginia. 
Land-Buy19 Nov 1811  They had migrated into Washington County, Virginia by November, 1811 as Abednego purchased two tracts of land from John Grills on the 19th of that month for $950. The first tract contained 60 acres. The second tract, which was contiguous, contained 109 acres and crossed Cedar Creek.5 
WidowedDec 1832  Rebecca died in Dec. 1832.6

Land-Sell20 Oct 1839  Abednego sold his son John W. Wedding one half of his land (estimated at 164 acres) on Oct. 29, 1839. John was to take ownership on Abednego's death.7 
Land-Sell3 Jan 1843  On Jan. 3, 1843 Abednego sold the remainder of his land, described as 2 tracts encompassing about 80 acres, to his sons-in-law William M. Edmondson and William White for $2. The deed was not to include any land previously deeded to John and was not to take effect until Abednego's death. Abednego also stipulated that if his wife Rhoda outlived him she was not to be deprived of firewood from the property.8 
Deathbefore 24 Feb 1845 Abednego died before 24 Feb 1845 as letters of administration were granted on his estate on that date.9 
Probate Recd28 Jun 1847 On 28 Jun 1847 John Clark, who was the administrator for Abednego's estate, filed a settlement record in Washington County court. Payments were reported to the widow Rhoda Wedding and distributive shares were paid to: Wesley A. Hutton on account of [behalf of] Augustus Wedding, William White in right of his wife Artimise, William M. Edmondson in right of his wife Matilda, and John W. Wedding.1 
2 Dec 1847  Six months later Abednego's son John and his wife Elizabeth, who had moved to Roane Co., Tennessee, sold their 84 acres of Abednego's land to William M. Edmondson and William White for $350. It was described as on the waters of Cedar Creek.10
