Birth17 Apr 1887 Robert Lee Clark was born in Glade Spring, Washington County, Virginia, probably on 17 Apr 1887. His World War I draft registration states that he was born on the 30th however that was completed by someone else; Robert signed it with his mark.2,3 
Description  The registration form described Robert as tall and stout with red hair and light colored eyes.3  
Marriage23 Apr 1911 He married Cora Emma Sage, daughter of Lee Sage and Viney (?), on 23 Apr 1911 in Washington County, Virginia.4,5 
Cens-19207 Jan 1920  Robert and Cora lived on the Gladespring-Saltville Rd in the community of Glade Spring. Robert worked as the Mathieson Alkali Works. In 1920 the couple were enumerated with 4 children: Lee (7), Elizabeth (5), Louise (3) and Virginia (7 months).6 
Widowed1926  Cora died in 1926. 
Marriage14 Aug 1927 He married second Harriet Lincoln Moore, daughter of Joe Moore and ? McLaughlin, on 14 Aug 1927 in Washington County, Virginia.5 
Death25 Mar 1934 Robert died on 25 Mar 1934 at age 46.2 
Burial He was buried at Old Baptist Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2
