Birth7 May 1871 Wilson Buchanan Clark was born on 7 May 1871 in Virginia.1 
Name Other  As an adult Wilson was known as "Buck" although he also appears in some records as ""Buchanan" or "W.B."4 
Childhood  Wilson spent his childhood on his parent's farm in Smyth County, Virginia. He was the second youngest in a family of 7 children.3,5 
Cens-191015 Apr 1910  By 1910 "Buchanan" had established his own household, although still in the same precinct in Smyth County as his parent's farm. There were no other individuals enumerated living with him.6 
Marriage27 Apr 1910 He married Mary Painter on 27 Apr 1910, shortly after the 1910 enumeration was recorded.7 
Cens-192028 Jan 1920  By 1920 they were the parents of 5 children, all of whom were enumerated that year. "W.B." at age 48, stated the he owned his own farm which was not mortgaged. Mary was 42 and "keeping house."8 
Occupation Although the census records list Wilson as a farmer, he also owned a very successful cattle company with his younger brother Charles.9 
Death5 Jun 1951 Wilson died on 5 Jun 1951 at age 80.1 
Burial He was buried at Rich Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Smyth County, Virginia.1
