Marriage He married Katherine Moorman, daughter of Charles Richard Moorman and Ellen C. Jones.4 
Cens-19101910 When the 1910 census for Washington County, Virginia was enumerated, Charles and Katherine were living with Charles's parents. Also in the home were their two children: Mary, age two and Moorman, age three.5 
Cens-1920Jan 1920  However by 1920 they were living in their own home with their family which had grown to include 2 boys and 3 girls. Interestingly, when the census was recorded that year, one of the sons, Charles, was also enumerated back in his grandparents household, suggesting perhaps a continued close relationship between them.6 
Occupation  Charles worked for the railroad for some years. He and his brother Arthur also owned a livery business in Glade Spring.7,5 
Death8 Aug 1925 Charles died on 8 Aug 1925 of cancer at age 47.3,4,8 
Burial He was buried in the Ryburn Square in Old Glade Spring Cemetery, Washington County, Virginia.3,4
