Milit-Reg5 Jun 1917  He registered for the World War I draft on June 5, 1917 while living in Brooklyn, New York where he was training as a medical intern at Norwegian Hospital. The form described David as tall with blue eyes and brown hair. He was not married.4 
Military  David went on to serve in France as a Captain in the US Army, Medical Corps.5 
Cens-192010 Jan 1920  Following the war David practiced medicine in Savannah, Georgia.6 
Marriagecirca 1922 He married Eva H. (?) circa 1922.7 
Cens-1930Apr 1930  In 1930 they lived in Lakewood, Ohio [a suburb of Cleveland] where David worked for the US Veterans Bureau.7 
Death31 Jul 1936 David died on 31 Jul 1936 when he was struck by a train at Glade Spring in Washington County, Virginia, at age 47.3
