Research Comment:

Frank's uncle, Robert Moffett, was a well known Christian minister. Frank's grandfather, Garner Moffett, had been an itinerant preacher for the Christian church in it's earliest days in Illinois. And one of Frank's grandsons, Robert J. Moffett, continued the family tradition. Robert passed away in late 2001. His obituary was published in the Bulletin of the Disciples Divinity House of the University of Chicago.
