Marriage She married William C. Doran.3 
Cens-185012 Jul 1850  Eleanor and William lived near Eleanor's father, Joseph Leedy in Washington County, Virginia, after their marriage.4 
Migration  Joseph Leedy died in 1852, following which Eleanor and William, along with Eleanor's brothers Archibald and Josiah Leedy, migrated west to Greene County, Missouri. 
Cens-18601 Jun 1860 William and Eleanor settled in Clay township where they farmed a tract of land. Eleanor's brothers settled in Springfield where as carpenters they helped build the growing town.5 
Cens-187011 Aug 1870  By 1870 William and Eleanor's land was valued at $2,500. The couple's four youngest children were enumerated with them that year.6 
Death8 Dec 1879 Eleanor died on 8 Dec 1879 at age 57.2 
Burial She was buried at Dodson Cemetery in Greene County, Missouri.2 
  William died 17 Dec. 1894 and is also buried at Dodson Cemetery.7
