Cens-18508 Oct 1850  Elizabeth and Jacob lived in the town of Abingdon in Washington County, Virginia, where Jacob served as the "keeper of the jail". The 1850 census enumeration recorded the couple with their 10 month old son McClelland. Also present was Sally Lynch (54), Elizabeth Lynch (8), the Rev. W.C.G. Cunningham (minister of the M.E. Church) and one prisoner: 23 year old William Anderson.4 
Widowed28 Nov 1850  Elizabeth was widowed a few months after the census enumeration. She was 20 years old. 
Marriage3 Feb 1852 She married Andrew J. Wilson on 3 Feb 1852 in Washington County, Virginia.2 
Death11 Sep 1855 Elizabeth died on 11 Sep 1855 at age 25.3 
Burial She was buried at Wilson Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3 
  Following Elizabeth's death, her son McClelland lived with her mother, Nancy Galliher. The 1860 census enumeration for Nancy's household included 9 year old McClelland Lynch as well as a 14 year old Mary Lynch (whom I cannot identify).6
