Birth11 Jan 1880 Arthur B. Durell was born on 11 Jan 1880 in Wayne County, Illinois.1,2 
Migration1886 Arthur left Illinois with his parents and siblings around 1886 and migrated to Lincoln County Kansas where they settled on a farm in Colorado township.3 
Marriage21 Aug 1901 He married Mary Webb on 21 Aug 1901.1 
  They appear to have spend the early days of their marriage in Lincoln County as their children were born there between 1903 and 1909. 
Cens-191015 Apr 1910  However, by 1910 they were farming in Delaware County, Oklahoma.4 
  Several of Arthur's siblings had settled in Noble County, Oklahoma some years earler. 
  Arthur's obituary also mentioned that he spent a short time in Arkansas; the exact time is not stated but Arthur's parents were living in Benton County, Arkansas in 1910. 
ResidenceNov 1914 Arthur and Mary's stay in Oklahoma was apparently a short one as they were again living in Lincoln County, Kansas in 1814 when Arthur's father died.3 
Cens-19201920  There they were recorded on the 1920 census with their two children, Mildred and Merle.5 
Death31 Dec 1922 Arthur died on 31 Dec 1922 in Lincoln County, Kansas, at age 42.1 
Burial3 Jan 1923 He was buried on 3 Jan 1923 at Hammer Cemetery in Lincoln County, Kansas.1 
Obituary11 Jan 1923  According to his obituary, Arthur's death in 1923 at the age of 42 was sudden and unexpected. It stated that a very large crowd was present to pay their respects and that the services were assisted by the Odd Fellows, of which Arthur, or "Art" as he was known to his friends, was a member.1
