Birth11 Jan 1880 Osbin Durell was born on 11 Jan 1880 in Wayne County, Illinois.3,4
The correct spelling of this name is not clear to me. Geno (Lowe) Carver identified the sons of William and Mary Jane Durell to include "Osburn". The 1900 census uses Osborne. However the 1880, 1910 and 1920 census, as well as his mother's obituary, spell the name Osbin.
Migration1886 Osbin and his twin brother Arthur were about six years old when they moved with their parents from Illinois to Lincoln County, Kansas.
Cens-19001 Jun 1900  The two boys were living in Colorado township with their parents and younger sister when the 1900 census was enumerated.2
Osbin may have been recorded a second time, as another record lists him working as a laborer for a farmer in neighboring Madison township.5
Cens-19106 May 1910 By 1910 Osbin and his older brothers, Bennett and Alonzo, had moved to Montana where they farmed land in Valley County.6
Cens-19201920  But ten years later Osbin had moved further west. He was enumerated in 1920 in Seattle, Washington where he lived in a rooming house and worked as a car salesman.7
Death12 Mar 1931 Osbin died on 12 Mar 1931 in Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 51.8
