  William and Elizabeth farmed land in District 9 of Lincoln County where they raised 6 children. At least 3 of their children left Tennessee in the early 1900s; George (who went to Oklahoma) and Mary (who went to Arkansas) eventually returned to Tennessee. However Livingston settled in California and remained there.5,6,7 
Cens-19001900  Following Elizabeth's death William made his home with his daughter Harriet who had not married. 
Death16 Jul 1905 William died on 16 Jul 1905 in Lincoln County at age 76.3 
Burial He was buried at Unity Cemetery in Lincoln County, Tennessee.3
