Marriage Jean Kirkham married John Kelly.1 
Children  Besides Samuel and Andrew, John and Jean Kelly had 4 other sons: Anthony, Henry and William who all went to Kentucky, and James who remained on the old Kelly homestead following his marriage to Nancy Robinson. The daughters were Elizabeth who married David Robinson, Margaret who married her cousin Samuel Kelly, and Jane (Jennie) and Martha (Patsy) who remained single and lived with their brother James.2 
Deathbefore Dec 1822 Jean died before Dec 1822 at which time her husband wrote in his will that he wished to be buried besides his wife Jane at the Ebbing Spring Churchyard.3 
Burial She was buried at Ebbing Spring Cemetery.4
