Many, if not most, of the individuals who were initially buried in Wolfe Cemetery were reinterred at Lanark Cemetery in later years. However, John and his mother remained at Wolfe Cemetery, as did John's aunt and uncle, Garner and Mary Jane (Davis) Moffett.
