Military16 Mar 1942  Thomas enlisted in the US Army on 16 March 1942 at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas. He was a resident of Lincoln Co., New Mexico at the time. The enlistment form describes him as 66 inches high. He weighed 141 pounds.6

Death6 Jun 1963 Thomas died on 6 Jun 1963 in Santa Cruz County, California, at age 52.1,3 
Burial He was buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, San Mateo County, California.3
