Frank was 33 and like his brothers was employed by the Mathieson Alkali Works at Saltville. Frank was described as of medium height and stout build with black eyes and light hair.3 |

Frank still worked for the alkali plant where he had risen to the job of foreman. Besides Frank (44) and Callie (39), the household included: Laurence (20), Earnest (16), Ruth (14), Jawnita [sic] (10), Ralph (8) and Nelda (4).5 |
