Washington Co. > Old Glade Spring Church

The history of Old Glade Spring Presbyterian Church dates to the 1770s when a meeting house was built at Ebbing Spring 3 miles south-east of Glade Spring. The first structure on the present site was built in 1792 on land gifted by Francis Kincannon. It was replaced by a brick Sanctuary in the mid 1800s which was destroyed by wind on Dec. 9th, 2009. Several stones in the old cemetery were damaged by falling debris. The church will be rebuilt.
