M.V. Edmondson of Glade Spring, Virginia

1. all just debts be paid

2. at death of wife, Carrie Edmondson, devise to Van Edmondson Wright a lot on the NE corner of my home property, known as the Echols Property; lot faces 40 feet on the Norfolk and Western Railroad, thence with a line parallel with J.R. Hendrick’s line to the middle of the creek, thence with the creek to Hendrick’s line, and with his line north to the railroad line, and with that line to the beginning.

3. to beloved wife Carrie all property, real and personal during her natural like; personal property she is free to dispose of or bequeath as she wishes

4. at wife’s death all real estate, except as described above, is devised to daughter Maggie Wright and her 4 sons [“4” was written in by hand between “her” and “sons” which were typed]: Van Edmondson Wright, Cleveland Wright, William Wright, and Roy Wright.
