For cash received of the following persons for purchase of slaves sold [21 Jun 1845] under decree of Court and due this day the administrator being the commissioner appointed to make the sale to wit,

Wm. McCALL $1,047.

Administrator allowed $154.44 as compensation for his personal trouble as Administrator and also to pay the additional expenses in the suits in Chancery.
The Settlement of the estate of Martha McCALL was ordered to be recorded: 28 Dec 1846.

[John McCALL’s wards were the children of Thomas McCALL, deceased, son of John & Martha McCALL. John ROBERT’s wards were the children of John McCALL, deceased, son of John & Martha (ORR) McCALL. John & Martha (ORR) McCALL’s son John also had a daughter Frances Jane who married James S. WITTEN Jr. above. Robert SCOTT was the husband of Martha SCOTT (Martha and her brother Joseph and her sister Mary Jane (wife of Arthur Orr CRAWFORD), were children of Obediah and Jane (McCALL) SCOTT). Jane was the dau. of John & Martha McCALL. Arthur Orr CRAWFORD was the son of Beniah and Mary (ORR) CRAWFORD. Beniah’s wife, Mary, was the dau. of Arthur ORR, Sr.].
