DEED OF TRUST – WILLIAM J. RYBURN

Know all men by these presents that I hereby execute a Deed of Trust to D.O. King, L.O. Byers and S.W. Ryburn binding my two shares in the landed estate of my father which lies in Washington, Va. and adjoins the lands of S.W. Ryburn and George M. Rutherford and others, containing one hundred and seventy acres, more or less. The conditions of this deed are such that whereas I am justly indebted to Mary E. Bushong in the sum of Two hundred and fifty Dollars, and the above named parties having gone on my note to her as securities, this Trust is to indemnify them and in case I fail to satisfy the said debt and thereby exonerate these my securities then they are hereby authorized to sell the said land for the said debt or any unpaid balance thereon as any time, and after liquidating said debt and its interest they shall pay the balance, if any, to me.

Witness my hand and seal this 3rd day of November 1877.
