I, James Snodgrass of Washington Co., Virginia

- to son William J. 60 acres beginning at my spring and running easterly to the main road

- remainder of land to beloved wife and at her death to my sister Martha Ann Buchanan

- wife Amanda G. Snodgrass all farming utensils, a team, buggy and harness; also 2 milch cows

- remainder of stock to be sold and used to pay debts and funeral expenses

- to son W. J. Snodgrass 1 bed, stead and covering – remainder of household and kitchen furniture to beloved wife

- any money left to be divided between wife Amanda and son William J.

- William J. to be executor, without bond
