James Ryburn being indebted to Mary Ryburn for $96.67 desires to secure same
Receives of Andrew Edmondson $1
For which James sells to Andrew: 3 beds & furniture, cupboard & furniture, 1 beaurough [sic], 1 fallen leaf table, 1 square table, 1 clock, 1 looking glass, 6 chairs, 2 wheels, 1 oven & lid, 1 skillet & lid, 1 pot, 1 kettle, 1 pot rack, washing tub, 1 chirn [sic], 1 loom, 1 black cow, 1 red spotted cow and their increase, 4 sheep & their increase, 10 hogs & their increase, 1 black mare & 1 winmill [sic]
If James Ryburn or his heirs pays Mary Ryburn $96.67 within 6 months of this date then this indenture to be null and void
If James Ryburn or his heirs does not pay $96.67 on or before the 17th of Jul. 1839 then it shall be lawful for Andrew Edmondson or his heirs to sell the above property or as much as is necessary to cover debt.
Items to be sold at public sale to the highest bidder for ready money at the house of the said James Ryburn after at least 20 days public notice
Proceeds to be used:
1. money owed Mary
2. cost of recording this indenture
3. 6% to trustee for executing this trust
4. excess if any to James Ryburn or heirs
