I, Nancy E. Bradley, of the County of Washington & State of Virginia, Being in fairly good health, and of sound mind, But realizing the fact that it is appointed unto all men once to die, make this my last will & Testament.

First. I desire my lands, which lie on both sides of the Public road, which leads from near J.G.R. Davis’ residence to the Turnpike road near Butts’ Hat shop & adjoins the lands of J.G.R. Davis, John M. Ratcliff, Laurence Garrett and others, as follows
viz:
     I Bequeath all the lands lying on the South side of said Public road, to my beloved Husband, James H. Bradley and all the lands on the North side of said Public road to my Brother J.G.R. Davis or to his children, if he should die before me. Provided that he or his children shall pay to my Brother, James A. Davis or his heirs the sum of One hundred Dollars ($100.00) which I Bequeath to him, said sum to be paid within five years after my death.

Secondly, I desire that the proceeds of a note executed by J.G.R. Davis to me, be distributed as follows, viz - :
     I Bequeath fifty Dollars ($50.00) of the same to the Trustees of the Parsonage or manse property of the Beaver creek Church & the residue of said note equally between Arthur, Sophie & Ella, the three youngest children of J.G.R. Davis & Sophie his wife, provided this note is not paid while I live.

Thirdly: I Bequeath my watch to James E. Davis or if he should die before me to Henry R. Davis, sons of J.G.R. Davis.

Fourthly: I desire that any debts due me at the time of my death from my husband, James H. Bradley shall not be collected.

     Given under my hand & seal this the fifth day of February, 1891.

     At a Court begun and held Washington County the 27th day of January 1896.
          A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy E. Bradley, deceased was this day produced in open court and proved by the oaths of H. B. Roberts, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and the due attestation of the said will by Isaac Taylor and W. H. Rouse the other subscribing witnesses thereto was also probed by the oath of said H.B. Roberts.

It is therefore ordered that said writing be recorded as and for the last will and testament of Nancy E. Bradley, deceased
