commission directs notary public to certify the attestations of said witnesses.

State of Texas
County of Tarrant

I, Wm B. Byars, of said county and state, desire to settle worldly affairs... last will and testament.

1. just debts be paid without delay

2. give, bequeath and devise to my adopted son, Wm B. Cobbs, my property, both real and personal

3. appoint Wm B. Cobbs executor without bond; desire no action be had in probate court in relation to the settlement of my estate other that the probating and recording of my will and the return of an inventory appraisement and list of claims of my estate.

There follows the depositions of Wm Capps and S.B. Cautey who stated that they were attorneys in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. They stated that they met Col. Wm B. Byars about 1883 or 1884, were intimately acquainted with him, wrote his will, witnessed his signing of it, and that he was competent at the time.

The depositions were notarized by J.C. Tewell Jr. a Notary Public for Tarrant County, Texas in the city of Ft. Worth 12 Sept. 1895
