I Nancy C. Hanby of the County of Washington and State of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory, fully appreciating the importance of arranging my worldly affairs whilst in the enjoyment of my mental faculties, do make this my last will and testament.

1st I desire that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of any money, or the proceeds of any property I may have at my death

2nd In consideration of the love and affection I bear to my Sister A.A. Bradley and her husband David O. Bradley, and in grateful recognition of the kindness they have uniformly shown me and my family, and the care and protection they have given and propose to give my grandson Lee H. Bradley, I give and bequeath to them, or the survivor of them, the amount of money willed to be paid to me by my sister A.A. Bradley by the will of John D. Ornduff made April 4th 1861 and admitted to record in the Clerks Office of the Circuit Court of said County on the 11th day of April term 1872, and I also give them any other money or property that may be due or coming to me by the will of said Ornduff, and all my personal property of every description, where ever situated, except such articles as are hereinafter otherwise disposed of.

3rd In the event I shall survive my said sister and her husband David O. Bradley, then and in that event I give and bequeath the money and property herein devised to them, to their children in equal portions, or to the survivor of them at my demise.

4th I give and bequeath to my niece Mary C. Bradley one bedstead and the necessary bedding for the same.

5th I give and bequeath to my niece Ann Trigg Bradley one bedstead and the necessary bedding for the same.

6th I give and bequeath to my grandson Lee H. Bradley one bedstead and the necessary bedding for the same.

The last will and Testament of Nancy C. Hanby, dec’d was produced in Court and proved by the oath of J.G.R. Davis and J. H. Bradley the two subscribing witnesses there to and ordered to be recorded.
