Marriage She married William Beattie Campbell, son of Capt David Campbell and Ann Ryburn.1 
Cens-18501850 The first census year that recorded the names of everyone in a household was 1850. William was recorded that year at age 32 with his wife Margaret (26), and the first 3 of their children: Samuel (5), Ann (3), and David (1.) He reported owning land valued at $1,200, which he was farming.4 
Cens-18609 Oct 1860  Ten years later William and Margaret were again recorded, but this year William reported owning real estate worth $2,500 and the family had added daughter Sarah, and sons William, John and Jacob.5 
  The family was living near William's cousin, John Ryburn. 
Cens-18708 Jul 1870 By 1870 the census locations were more specific and William and Margaret were recorded in Goodson township. Six of their children were still at home; Samuel, the eldest, was not present, and an infant daughter died a few days after her birth in 1865.6 
Death8 Sep 1872 Margaret died on 8 Sep 1872 at age 49.3 
Burial She was buried at Paperville Cemetery in Sullivan County, Tennessee.3
