Cens-19002 Jun 1900 In the years following her mother's death in 1884, Anna lived with her Uncle William Dunn and his wife Lou in Washington County.2

  Anna's sister Estella lived with two other aunts, Florence and Emily Dunn. The aunts and uncles were all siblings of Anna and Estella's deceased mother, Sally (Dunn) Rogers. 
Marriage13 Jun 1905 She married John N. Hutton, son of James Dixon Hutton and Missouri Ellen Naff, on 13 Jun 1905 in Washington County, Virginia.6 
Cens-19106 May 1910 John and Annie apparently moved to Bluefield, West Virginia shortly after their marriage. There they were enumerated in 1910 with their three oldest children, Virginia C. (Christine), Annie and John. John Sr. was working as an accountant in a brewery.7 
Cens-19206 Jan 1920  By 1920 they had moved to Nashville, Tennessee where John worked as a clerk. The family now consisted of 5 children, with the addition of Lucretia and Tate, who were born after the 1910 census.8 
Cens-193015 Apr 1930  Ten years later they were still in Nashville, living at 1913 18th Street. John was working as an accountant at a laundry. Christine (22), Mildred (21), Lucretia (18) and Tate (13) were also living at home.4 
Residence1945  At the time of Anna's death they were living at 909 Sutton Hill Road in Nashville.1 
Death9 May 1945 Anna died of bronchial pneumonia on 9 May 1945 at Nashville, Tennessee, at age 63.1
