Death1893 John probably died in 1893.7,8 
  John's date of death is not entirely clear as a transcribed reading of his headstone says he died in 1902 but his wife lists herself as a widow on the 1900 census. Other family records suggest the 1893 date.9,7,8 
Burial He was buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.8
