BirthCircacirca 1825 William G. Larimer was born in Virginia circa 1825.3
Marriage6 Nov 1845 He married Judith Garrett on 6 Nov 1845 in Washington County, Virginia.4
Cens-18503 Sep 1850  William and Judith lived in Washington County where they were enumerated in 1850 with 2 children: 3 year old Jessee and 9 month old Nancy. William and Judy were both 25. John Larimer [William's father] lived nearby. Interestingly, a 25 year old William Larimer was also enumerated in John's household.3,5
It appears that William was inadvertently enumerated twice; once in his father's household and once on his own.
Cens-186023 Aug 1860  By 1860 John (age 90) was a member of William's household which also included, besides Judy, the following children: Jesse (13), Nancy (11), Eliza (9), John (7), James (5), William (3) and George (1).2
The family eventually included 13 children. An infant daughter died a few days before the 1860 census taker visited the home.
Cens-18803 Jun 1880  In 1880 William, at age 57, was still farming, albeit with the help of several sons. Judy was 53. The household that year included: James H. (22), John V. (24), William C. (20), Sarah Jane (17), M.F.V.(dau, 15), Laura (13) and Leonidas (12).6
